The international event Elephant Parade arrives in Trier, and it is with pleasure that we present you Pinky Pine!
“”Pinky Pine is covered as if it had a mantle of soft blades of grass to caress, always with gentleness and consideration. I wish to pass the message that these animals are to be loved and not used for hard works, in which they suffer the power and control of humans”” These are the words of Jorge Castro Gomez, Artist of Bruxelles based in Spain, that in collaboration with Cieffeplast Srl, has made Pinky Pine.
The work of Jorge has been chosen and put in the official catalog of the Elephant Parade in Trier, Luxembourg, an exposition involving artists from all over the world with the common purpose of protecting the elephants.
The inauguration in Trier is the first step of a journey in which all the works will be shown in several places of the city until October. Pinky Pine waits for you in front of the Trier City Hall.
